There is a lot of questions coming from people, who have became familiar with GTA: Online only recently, about the ways of earning money in the game. In case of singleplayer (aka GTA 4) everything is rather obvious, however in multiplayer, GTA: Online, completely different game laws are applied - no wonder newbies are often confused. So, there is a numerous ways of gaining money in GTA: Online, and we are goind to discuss most of them.
Run heists
As the Heists update has come up there is an another way to receive the bunch of money in game. Number of players thinks that it’s the most lucrative way to get the money in GTA 5. Heists usually are interesting and payout is really quite enough. For example, the Series A Funding heist will bring to the crew about 400 000$ in the Normal difficulty. Share for the four. Not that bad, but you have to complete the mission first, which not as easy as you may thought.
There is just one problem. The Heist Leader divides the payouts by himself. It may turn out like this: after a hours of tense action you receive only 5% of all the money, which absolutely no worth for all your time and energy that you spend on that. What a pity. And also the heists aren’t easy tasks, so if you try to complete it with random people it may go with stress, depression and losing the faith in mankind. Otherwise, if you already have a good team the heists may become really useful and lucrative. If you do not it’s a good time to start finding.
Complete missions with friends
Let's keep to the point: the most widespread and well-known way of earning money is completing missions. The amount of payment for them depends on who offered it. Martin and Lester tend to pay the most and we highly recommend taking their missions only for money-earning purposes. If you are lucky enough, you can earn up to $25000, and if you are, huh, unlucky, you can lose up to $500 (not taking in account possible spendings on ammo). Also, it is much more easy to player with your freinds and pals, furthermore - not only it is easier, but also more profitable, as there is a bonus of +10% profit per each crew member. It is also a nice idea to select "Hard" difficulty when starting up a mission, as different difficulties provide different profit modifiers: easy provides none, normal is 25%, and hard is 50%.
Loot bodies and boxes
When playing missions (and not only them), pay attention to the bodies of those those fell, sometimes they have some spare money in their pockets - grab it now with your dirty hands. May earn you a thousand or two. Also, pay attention to boxes and other... stuff of interest. For example, in mission "The Los Santos Connection" by Martin, near enemy hordes there are boxes, which can be shot opened, and you get two packages of coke out of each, each of them costs $500.
Kill bounty targets
When free roaming through Los Santos, keep your eyes opened for bounties on players (you can do it as soon as you reach level 10). A bounty may earn you with money, ranging from $1000 to $9000. However, it is not recommended to take on low-payment contracts, as you are risking to lose more than you earn. Players with a bounty on their hands are marked with a red skull and a cross.
There is a very fun activity in the game - vaporizing police forces. This is task by sir Lester, you have to do it for approximately 4 minutes, and, depends on your success, you can learn money with a sum of somewhere around $1000, however try to use as little ammo as possible.
Grab cash from armored trucks
Sometimes you may meet armored trucks (they are also displayed on your radar). And in some rare cases, they may spawn just right next to you! If this happens, well, you are a lucky guy, grab your C4/Shotgun/Heavy sniper rifle and shoot/explode it's back doors open. Grab the money and do your best to escape the 2-star police. That way you can get moeny from $2000 up to $15000.
Sell stolen cars
Remember that you can sell stolen cars (except for luxury super expensive ones, which can not be obtained, nor sold illegally). Bear in mind, that you can sell only one car once per 45 minutes (real minutes, you don't have to spend them in-game, however). You can prepare for a next trade by leaving a stolen car in your garage.
Complete daily objectives
There is an interesting mechanic in GTA: Online, designed to force players interact in different activities, named "Daily Objectives". Once a day you will be given three simple tasks, the point of which varies a lot - it can be a play in golf, a walk in the park (literally) or some really serious business. On completing them, you earn $25000 and 3000RP. You can easily calculate that for a month you can earn $750000 and 90000RP.
