How to skip a cutscene in GTA 5
Not everyone wants to see a cutscene before a mission, especially if you’ve already seen it. In singleplayer, you can just hold "E" to skip it, but in GTA Online it’s not always that simple.
One of the ways to skip a cutscene in GTA Online is this: First of all, not all videos can be skipped. If you’re watching a cutscene for the first time, it’s likely that you won’t be able to do it. Otherwise you’ll be able to skip it by pressing "E", "Space" or "Esc".
However, there’s one thing to keep in mind. Cutscenes in heists and other missions can only be skipped if all players involved choose to do so. You also can’t skip those if you’re watching them for the first time.
Missions and heists are always better to play with friends or more experienced players. It’s worth mentioning that cutscenes can often be quite useful and informative, although some players are just playing for fun and not for the story.
