How to verify the integrity of cache in GTA 5

Nothing beats playing GTA 5 when you have all weekend in front of you. Although it may be problematic if your PC is unstable. This can happen if Windows decides to update at the wrong time, which may result in crashes and other errors. Even if you don’t run into such problems, it’s still useful to know how to verify integrity of your game files.

In you have a pirated version of the game, do the following:

Go to the game directory;
Create a shortcut of the «GTAVLauncher.exe» file on your desktop;
Click on it and choose Properties;
Go to «Shortcut», find the line that says «Target» and type in «-verify» at the end;
Apply changes and double click on the shortcut. This will automatically verify game files.

If you have a licensed version of the game, it’s even more simple:

Go to Steam;
Open your Library;
Click on GTA 5 with your right mouse button, go to Properties > Local Files and choose «Verify Integrity of Game Files».

After the verifying process finishes, all errors and other problems will be automatically fixed.
