Rockstar has sold 90 million copies of GTA 5

90 million copies of GTA 5 were sold for all time since the release of the game
Take-Two reported its latest successes. In General, is nothing decidedly new – GTA 5 continues to significantly enrich its creators: in 2017 it sold more than 15 million copies of the game, and the total number of copies sold is 90 million. For a moment: GTA 5 for four and a half years. Well, the guys from Rockstar are clearly not starving.

Over the past quarter revenue of Take-Two amounted to 480 000 000$ (how unusual to see large numbers without captions GTA$) and net profit 25 000 000. And yet this is not virtual money, but real – money that we never dreamed of. Financial success for Take-Two, as expected, 32% were microtransactions. Director of the publisher, Strauss Zelnick, has noticed that the developers did not put profit as their fundamental goal so all players, regardless of whether they invest money or not, always completely get free access to additional content. Strauss expressed the hope that GTA 5 in the new year will make new records.
