Schafter made it's debut in Grand Theft Auto 4 and since then is very widespread model in the GTA universe. In The Ballad of Gay Tony Schafter changed a bit, it got a more modern and aerodynamically wiser design, and it was transferred to the fifth part unchanged. This sedan is equipped with straight-eight engine with volume of 6.5 litres, while the car itself has a weight of 1600 kilograms.
According to in-game documentation (a information from southernsanandreassuperautos.com, to be more precise), Schafter is capable of achieving speed up to 233 kilometres per hour. Schafter has a fair accelertion and it can reach it's top speed in less than 14 seconds. Automobile has a rather good suspension, thanks to it has no problem in maintaining a good handling at high speeds, not reaching maximal though. As for car's "endurance", it can be described as "outstanding", as it can easily withstand a few frontal hits at high speeds without losing much of it's efficiency. It all together makes Benefactor Schafter the one of the best sedans in GTA 5, however you will also have to pay a lot for it. You can see this car in Rockford Hills, and you can also find parked not far from Los Santos golf club.
Prototypes from the real world for Benefactor Schafter were the following cars: Mercedes Benz E Class (2009) and Mercedes-Benz CL-Class (2006).
