Buckingham Shamal made it's first appearance in the Grand Theft Auto series in GTA: San Andreas, from where it moved off to the fifth part of the series, to GTA 5, though it has suffered some transformations (for example, when redesigning it, Rockstar changed it's source of inspiration for another plane, however it still looks very similar). In the game there is also a luxury variant of the aeroplane, Luxor, however if Luxor is a private plane, Shamal is actively used by a numerous airlines companies for short regional flights. Also, Shamal is almost completely white, with it's tail, stabilisers and jet-engines painted in blue and with an blue line as plane's contour.
Most part of vehicles in GTA 5 are modelled after real ones, and Buckingham Shamal is no exception. It's real-life prototype is an American Learjet 45, manufactured by Bombardier Aerospace.
On the current page you can find description, specifications and screenshots of Buckingham Shamal plane.
