Ikarus 255

Ikarus-255 is the coach of the Hungarian company Ikarus, which replaced the old 55-th models produced from 1952 onwards. It was similar to the Ikarus-250, although at 1 metre shorter. Seats it is 43. The first production vehicles came off the lane at the end of the 1972 season.Ikarus-255 was completed with the same engine and gearbox as the first modification of the Ikarus-250. Also, unlike the 250-255, model-I was originally charged with the spring, not pneumatic suspension. The bus had two mechanical doors-front and back.
