History
Aircraft Yakovlev Yak-9 was the Yak-1 and yak-7, and was the most popular type of front-line fighter AIRCRAFT. The new engine allowed up to Max. speed 520 km/h at sea level, and the 599 km/h at an altitude of 4860 meters.
Advantages: one of the best front-line fighter aircraft manufactured in bulk. High manoeuvrability and very strong arms. Enhanced survivability. Simple and convenient operation.
Disadvantages: defects and flaws in the mass production for the first time have led in many cases to increase the weight of the machine.
