How to switch between weapons in GTA 5
It’s not all that fun to play the game with just one gun. This is why GTA 5 offers players a wide choice of different weapons. But if you have a lot of guns, you need to know how to switch between them. That’s what this article is about.
We’re going to look at the 3 platforms:
- PlayStation
- Xbox
- PC
Let’s start with PlayStation. Hold L1 to bring up the Weapon Wheel or tap it to arm with your most recent weapon. This is quite simple and effective.
But where do you find weapons? You can buy them at gun stores or on the Internet. Some weapons are acquired throughout the storyline missions. There are 8 types of weapons in the game – pistols, SMGs, assault rifles, machine guns, shotguns, sniper rifles, heavy weapons along with explosives and melee weapons, such as a baseball bat.
If you’re playing on PC, press «Tab» to use the Weapon Wheel and scroll with your mouse to access different weapons of the same type. This will come in handy if you have, for example, more than two different pistols.
It works the same on Xbox as it does on PlayStation, but instead of L1 you’ll use LB.
