How to change gender in "GTA V Online"

Question: Is it possible to change your character’s gender in "Grand Theft Auto V"?

Answer №1: No, it’s not. But you can always create another character with a different gender. You will then get an option to copy your Rank to the new character. Choose "Yes".

Answer №2: Absolutely. You can use a certain trick, which doesn’t promise a 100% result, however.

For this one, you must only have one character. If you have more, delete the other
one.

Create another character;
After you’ve tweaked all 6 options in the character creator, go to your main character and back to the second one;
You’ll be offered to change your character’s appearance. Choose "No";
Disable your Internet connection;
Go back to the game and enable your connection once again. Now you get the option to change both your character’s gender and appearance.

Change your character however you like.
