Ways to remove a mask in GTA 5

There are limitless ways to customize your character in GTA Online. But if you’re roleplaying, your character will probably need a mask since the game actively pushes you to commit crimes, rob banks and do all kinds of illegal activities.

Some players wear helmets or masks during team deathmatches just to look cool. However, masks can be a problem on RP servers, so you might want to learn how to take it off. Press “M” (by default) to bring up the Interaction Menu. Then go to Inventory > Accessories > Masks and choose “None”. If you have a vending machine nearby, just buy a soda and the mask will disappear by itself.

On some servers, instead of bringing up your phone, you see a special menu that allows you to control your character. You can take your mask off via that menu. To put it back on, see the previous step. If you have your own Crew in the game, you can buy similar masks so that everyone knows who they’re dealing with.
