Ways to put the car in GTA 5

The most popular mods for GTA 5 are the ones that change vehicle models. Before you add any new vehicles, make a copy of your files in case any problems occur.

Installing car mods.

In order to add new sports cars or any other vehicles, do the following:

1. Download OpenIV and install it on your computer. It will be used to change the game files.
2. Run the program and find the right files to install. This may be problematic because sometimes the files that you need are located in different folders, however mods often come with instructions that will help you. You can see the directory of all the vehicles in the game down below.

Go to the GTA 5 directory and open x64w.rpf. Then go to dlcpack > mphipster > dlc.rpf > x64 > levels > gta5 > vehicles > mphipstervehicles.rpf There you’ll find the “.yft” and “.ytd” files. These are the ones that we need to change. Enter Edit Mode and replace them with the files from the mod that you want to install. Don’t forget to exit Edit Mode once you’re done.
