Ways to set the limit of FPS in GTA 5
If you want to experience GTA 5 at its fullest, you need to make sure that your PC meets the game’s system requirements, otherwise you might run into some performance issues. If you don’t have a powerful PC, you can try to lock your FPS to make the game run smoother.
Go to the graphics settings and turn on vertical synchronization. This will cap the game at 30 FPS and allow your PC to run it with no stuttering or visual artifacts. If you have a GeForce graphics card, you can use a special software to turn on VSync. You should also lower all the other graphics settings, such as textures, shadows etc.
This should fix some of the performance issues. Make sure to close other programs and set a higher priority for the GTA 5 process in the Task Manager.
