It’s not rare in GTA Online that you get killed in the middle of a shootout just because you run out of ammo or can’t find cover. In the storyline mode, you have all the weapons unlocked, you only need the money to purchase them. So, if you want to get a powerful gun in the very beginning of the game, you’ll have to use cheat codes.
The deadliest and the most effective weapon in the game is probably a Minigun. You can only get it after The Paleto Score mission if you want to play fair.
You can buy a Minigun in any gun store once you reach level 120 in multiplayer. If your character level is not high enough, you can try and get it from a military base. Just go there and drive along the runway to the tallest building. The Minigun will be on the last floor of that building. This weapon is not very suitable against enemies on foot, so we recommend you to find a good cover before using it.
You can also pick one up in certain Jobs in multiplayer. Your character will be able to keep it as long as it has ammo.
