Lester — GTA 5, the description of the character

The developers of Grand Theft Auto 5 paid attention not only to the three main characters, but also to minor characters that affect the plot. One of these is Leicester in GTA 5, which will be discussed below.

The hero appears after entering the main part of the story. Plays a key role in planning robberies.

About the character

Lester Crest – one of the Central characters of the single game GTA V. Without it, most of the major cases and robberies of the main trio would be in question. Participation in the story

The player does not get acquainted with the hero immediately. The Crest is not mentioned in the prologue, and only Franklin and Michael are available at the beginning of the passage. When planning the first robbery in the North, the characters turn to Lester for help. De Santa meets with him at the house to discuss the details of the upcoming case. There are a lot of books, various gadgets, computers, as well as a Board for making a plan of robberies.

Appearance and character

Outwardly, Lester is small. Moves only with a cane due to an injury to the musculoskeletal system. Indoors, he prefers to use a wheelchair. Wears glasses with diopters, trousers, and a tucked-in shirt. Polite and smart, attentive to details. Behaves with restraint, lives in a house without frills. Since the hero's earnings are associated with fraud on the stock exchange and robberies, he prefers not to "Shine". He saves all his money and doesn't spend it on entertainment.

The character can be called the most valuable member of Michael's team, since he has access to all modern technologies, databases, servers, and so on. The hero has information that allows you to carefully plan operations. Each case is not limited to one way – there are always several plans and escape routes in stock. Lester spends his free time either programming or playing computer games. Prefers to communicate with people via the Internet. Failed jokes and not able to conduct a dialogue in person, so has no friends outside the criminal circle. Franklin, who receives Lester's individual tasks in GTA 5, knows one secret – the hero often hacks the girls ' Webcams and watches them. Lester's personal life is extremely bad.

Interesting! The prototype of Lester in real life was the American actor Jay Kleitz. The similarity between a man and a character in the game is impossible to deny.

Location in the game

During the campaign, Lester does not change his place of residence. His home is located on Amarillo Vista, in the El burro heights neighborhood. Outside of story tasks, there is no building marker on the player's map. You can only get inside during missions. The protagonist arrives to discuss matters at Lester's home. After completing the game, you will not be able to find the Crest in single player mode. If you get inside the house using cheats to pass through the walls, you can examine the dwelling in detail. Lester has a well-designed apartment – lots of items, computers, notes, shelves, and so on.

Additional tasks

In addition to organizing the main robberies, the character offers a job to Franklin. After the task "Shame and glory", the man offers the protagonist to earn a large sum. The essence of the plan is that the player must kill influential owners of corporations and buy shares of competitors. After each murder, shares of a company in decline are also bought. Then they are sold on the stock exchange after a few game days. There are 5 such tasks in the game:

• Hotel. A mandatory task to advance through the story. Before passing to redeem all of the shares BettaPharmaceuticals for each protagonist. After 2 days after the murder, you can sell securities – their value will increase by 50% on PC and 80% on old consoles.
• 4 goals. Here you need to buy a share of the company Debonaire. The scheme is exactly the same as in the first task.
• Panel. You can get rich on the Fruit Corporation on the BAWSAQ exchange.
• Bus. In this task, earnings are possible after the murder. After completing the order, go to BAWSAQ and buy all the shares of the Vapid (VAP). After 72 game hours, sell your share on LCN.
• Construction. Through the LCN exchange, buy out the GoldCoast company and start the task. Then sell the paper at a 40 percent markup.

All tasks will be opened after successful completion of the previous kill from Lester. This is not affected by earnings from the financial exchange.

Tactics for getting the most benefit. Before completing the first mission of Lester, accumulate as much money as possible in the account of 3 heroes to buy up all the shares. Set aside the remaining orders until you receive money for the last storyline Heist. So the characters can get rich and buy any real estate in the game.

You can complete Leicester missions in GTA 5 without an exchange, if wealth and buying cars, real estate, and clothing is not your ultimate goal after the story ends.

Participation in GTA Online

In the fifth part of GTA appeared full online mode, which was not in other games in the series. Many of the characters in the story moved to multiplayer. Leicester Crest became one of the mentors and customers for the player.

Add-ons

Content related to the hero appeared online along with add-ons. The Crest appears in the organization of most robberies:

• DLC Heists. The first set of robberies for GTA Online. The player is granted access after a call from Lester and an invitation to his sewing factory. The hero becomes a participant in the organization of 5 large cases for 4 people. As in the story, Lester is the brain center of operations.
• The Bikers. After buying a biker club, Lester contacts a player under a false name and helps in buying an underground business.
• The day of judgment. Together with Agent 14, Lester contacts the player to save Los Santos from an impending threat. The character throws up small things for several days.
• Diamond casino Robbery. In this case, in GTA 5, Lester's tasks end up indefinitely. The hero decides to retire, but first you have to pull off the largest robbery of the local casino.

Interesting! In the "Bikers" Supplement, a hacker tries to hide from the player under the alias "Lanky John Nagibator", but in one of the conversations accidentally gives out his real name.

Help from the hero

Leicester's involvement in the player's life doesn't end with planning robberies. After Dating and introductory missions, the hacker offers useful services on a regular basis. You can use them via the additional menu on the M key:

• Assigning a monetary reward for the head of any player on the server (free of charge);
• Getting rid of police harassment ($200 per star);
• Removing the player icon from the radar ($500);
• Showing all hidden players on the map ($500).

You can use the services indefinitely. If Lester is busy, you should call again in 2-3 minutes.

Interesting facts about the hero

A few facts about Lester and his assignments:

• The award service may be used against you;
• The hero has asthma;
• Prefers to listen to Space 103.2 radio;
• The character does not have a photo in the virtual phone's notebook;
• There is a folder with pornography on the hacker's personal computer (you can't open it).

The hero is not only a full-fledged participant in the story, but also an assistant in earning money and online robberies. The total earnings for each of the characters can reach 40 million.
