Airliner Jet made it's appearance in one shape or another in almost all parts of the GTA series, starting with Grand Theft Auto III. So, in all games of the series, except for GTA 4 and GTA: San Andreas, it appears as Airtrain, and in San Andreas it is known as AT-400. Though they are based on different models of Boeing's production, their look is rather similar and their purpose is the same. However, their control wheels were inaccessible for a player, but now situation is changed and everyone can give a try piloting a massive civilian airliner. The plane is, usually, painted in white colour, and engines are painted in red and black, and there is also a logo of airlines company present.
The Jet plane has an impressive for it's size speed of 161 kilometres per hour and an excellent acceleration for the weight of 38000 kilograms, making it capable of achieving it's top speed for a short time. The aircraft needs a good runaway for taking off and landing. It is highly unrecommended to try to land it on curvy terrain, full of rocks and other stuff, just to to take care of your safey and the safety of your passengers. Jet also is rather tough and can withstand numerous hits to it's fuselage, however even a slightest hit to the engines will render them disfunctioning. It is also worth mentioning it's unrealistic manoeuvrability, inadequate to it's size and weight (of course it is nowhere close to one of Vestra, but it is still too agile).
Boeing 747-400 is the real prototype of Jet in the real world.
