Visually-speaking, helicopter Bucking Swift looks quiet "modern" (at least it's manufacturers are trying hard to make it look so), it has a very streamline, sleek shape. Swift made it's first appearance in the second add-on for the fourth part of Grand Theft Auto series - The Ballad of Gay Tony, and it was transferred to GTA 5 with only one visual change - it's frontal windscreen is now of a much lighter tint, one can easily see through it. Also helicopter has an actual working lamps and it's doors can be both opened and closed, unlike TBoGT. Furhermore, Swift is a first helicopter in the GTA series which has retractable landing gear system, controlled by a player. The default variant of Buckingham Swift has a completely black paint job and cen bought for $15000000 on www.ElitasTravel.com.
If you think that Buckingham Swift's paintjob is rather boring, then take a look at it's variant "Flying Bravo" in a red and green livery. It is not superior in any way over the default, classic variant, yet it costs $100000 more. In the description of the helicopter on EltiasTravel it is said, what seats in this variant have rhodium stitching, which is hard to check though.
Buckingham Swift is definitely the fastest helicopter in the game, it has no match by speed, but it is noticeably inferior by manoeuvrability, when compraed to some other helicopters, like Buzzard or Frogger. The other con of the Swift is it's fragility - not only it is enough a few bursts to take it out, but a too hard landing may cause it's tail to fall off.
The prototype of Buckingham Swift is AgustaWestland AW109.
